Project for an entrance exam, the assignment was to create graphical assets for a particular singer. Laurie’s lyrics emphasize the importance of remembering and processing negative experiences from childhood, a task everyone faces in life. Images reminiscent of childhood are reflected in a marble that “rolled onto” Laurie’s portrait. The halftone effect on the portrait evokes a printed photograph, and again emphasizes the circle as a core shape.
